Get to Know Dr. Hasan

Dr. Hasan attended high school in Youngstown, Ohio before moving to Chicago for his undergraduate and medical school education. He did his residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, one of the busiest and largest teaching hospital systems in the U.S. After completing his Ophthalmology residency, he completed his Glaucoma fellowship at the prestigious Washington University and Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Dr. Hasan has been involved in training Ophthalmology residents from The Ohio State University and Grandview/Kettering Hospital. He has also volunteered his services to free clinics for glaucoma screenings.

Dr. Hasan performs laser and incisional surgeries that include trabeculectomies, glaucoma tube shunts, combined glaucoma/cataract surgeries, and minimally-invasive glaucoma surgeries. He also performs cataract surgeries in patients with and without glaucoma.

His philosophy is to provide each patient with outstanding care in a personalized and compassionate manner. In his free time, Dr. Hasan likes to spend time with his family and play table tennis and basketball.
