Get to Know Jackie Wrenn

Jackie Wrenn, MSN, APRN-FNP-BC grew up in Stow, Ohio. She obtained her Bachelor of Public Health with a concentration in Health Care Administration in 2012 and Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2013 from Kent State University.  She worked at the Cleveland Clinic in the neurosciences department for a short period of time until she started her ophthalmology career in 2015.  She worked in the ocular oncology service for over 8 years, truly making it her passion. She has been published in several different medical journals and has presented at both the American Academy of Ophthalmology and International Society of Ocular Oncology International meetings on several occasions. She obtained her Master of Nursing degree with a concentration as Family Nurse Practitioner in 2020 from Chamberlain University and is Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

She has spent her career working closely with patients and aiding them through the clinical and surgical processes as well as providing detailed and transparent education on their disease process and clinical course.  She is devoted to providing excellent patient care and advocating for patients on all levels of the healthcare spectrum.

Outside of work, Jackie is a military wife, mom to a wild and crazy son and golden retriever, Kylo, and frequently sneaking away to any and all Disney vacations.
