Get to Know Dr. Pargament

Jonathan M. Pargament, M.D. is an oculofacial plastic surgeon at the Cincinnati Eye Institute and Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati. A native of Toledo, Ohio, Dr. Pargament maintains clinical interest in facial cosmetic surgery, correction of eyelid ptosis, tear duct surgery, and reconstructive eye and eyelid surgery (Mohs surgery and orbital fractures).

Dr. Pargament is highly experienced in minimally-invasive, endoscopic surgical techniques. He relies on a combination of surgical and non-surgical approaches for cosmetic facial procedures, including the use of BOTOX^Ⓡ Cosmetic, dermal fillers, and autologous fat transfer. Dr. Pargament performed more than 2,500 cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the face, eyelids, orbit, and tear duct system during his rigorous three-year fellowship at the prestigious Center for Facial Appearances in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters.

When not at work, Dr. Pargament and his wife, Laura, enjoy spending time with Jiambu, their rescue lab. He also enjoys fly-fishing and international travel.
