Dr. Shade was born and raised in the Cleveland area. After completing an ophthalmology residency at The Ohio State University, she pursued additional specialty training through a fellowship in Cornea and External Disease at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Dr. Shade has a special interest in cataract and cornea surgery as well as dry eye disease, and enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them maintain and improve their vision.
